Today explore the Land of Nawabs! Visit Rumi Darwaza! Also known as Turkish Gate, the ornate structure of Rumi Darwaza is distinct with an eight-faceted umbrella-like structure in its uppermost part. Visit Clock Tower! Made of red bricks and marked with intricate stucco work, the tower stands tall at 221 ft. and has a diameter of 13 ft. Visit Chhota Imambara, one of the most beautiful and attractive buildings in the old city! Visit Bada Imambara, known for its incredible maze of intricately intertwined tunnels, popularly called Bhool Bhulaiya, Visit British Residency, which stands witness to one of the most memorable siege of this British stronghold by the Avadh forces in 1857! Situated on the banks of Saryu River, Ayodhya is the birthplace of Lord Rama and is believed to be one of the seven most sacred places in India. With the grand inauguration of the Ram Temple recently, Ayodhya has an enduring place on the global map. Upon arrival, visit the Ram Temple! Visit Hanuman Garhi, a 10th century temple of Lord Hanuman! Go to Dashrath Mahal, widely believed as the original residence of King Dashrath! Go to Kanak Bhavan, the Bhawan which was gifted to Devi Sita by Kaikeyi immediately after her marriage to Lord Ram! Further, you can stroll around Ram Ki Paidi. Come back to Lucknow! Today you proceed to Shravasti, a sacred place that has been holy destination for Hindus, Jains and Buddhists. Historically, Shravasti is recorded as the capital of Kosala during the Mahajanapada period (6th–5th BC). Visit Jetavana Monastery! Jetavana Monastery is the place where Lord Buddha spent 25 monsoon seasons and gave many teachings and delivered many of the discourses for the first time, Visit Angulimala Stupa! Pakki Kuti or Angulimala Stupa was excavated along with other ruins of Shravasti city in the year 1863 and is considered to be one of the largest mounds found in the Mahet area of Shravasti.
